John Deere 450C Track Loader
This is an older model (prob. 70s) tractor. I changed the oil in my JD 450C track loader transmission. After that the transmission would pull for a little bit then it slowly stopped pulling. You could let it sit for a little bit and it would pull again for just a few seconds. According to the pressure gauge, it had pressure when in neutral, but shift it into high/low or reverse it didn't have any pressure. Any ideas??

Welcome to TBN! Everything is tight? Possible air leak? Got foam...?

Welcome to the forum:)
Hopefully poster jd110 will see this thread and help you out. I don't know but it sounds like you have a leak bleeding off pressure to the hydraulic clutch pack. I had a 450A and the tranny never had these problems but had to rebuild the steering brakes and engine. Is this a 450 or 455?

It is a 450C. I am working on tearing it apart to check and possibly replace the clutches. Thanks
