John Deere 410 starting problem

Operated the tractor yesterday, today it won't crank over. ran a jumper wire from the starter solenoid and it cranks find so the battery and starter are good. What should I look for next?

Check neutral start switch located in trans top cover. I've seen where a sealing washer could be removed & old switch reinstalled allowing switch internal contacts to meet better.

it was not the Neutral safety switch. I ran a jumper between the connections and still not cranking via the key switch. The seat safety makes a definite click sound when engaged so I believe I can eliminate that too.

what about the RIO and PTO switches?. I tried to find the wiring diagram on the web, but all I got was sites trying to make money, or the diagram was NOT for this tractor..

Think this is the jd 410 tractor loader backhoe, '71 - '83 vintage.. so likely neither switches are present.
