John deere 3720 question

Whats the diameter on the drawbar hole on the implement side? I don't intend to haul stuff around but merely be able to move my trailer and need to put a ball on it.

Puzzling to me... seems the Tractor End and the Towed End are the same.. but maybe the Towed End is what I think would be called the Towing End. Putting the ball on the Towing End. :confused2:

You can verify which end is which by checking the distance from the end to the hole per the specifications.

Hole Location - Tractor End 1.953 IN
Hole Location - Towed End 1.181 IN

Measured mine on the 4300 and the diam is 1 " and the 0.998" threaded end of the 2" ball fits perfectly.
