Hi Group,

I have 2008 3520 that appears to have a problem with the starter. Tractor is always in the shed and usually starts like a champ but a couple weeks ago only clicked when I tried to start it. The battery is old so yesterday I replaced it. When I turned the key I got absolutely nothing, no lights on the dash or any sound. I then put the battery charger on the battery for a couple hours and when I tried to start it I used the 50 amp start feature and I got clicking on what sounded like the starter.

Thoughts on what could be the problems and recommendations on steps to diagnose problem?

Thanks!

I'd start by cleaning and tightening all battery connections - clamps as well as battery terminals. After installing clamps try to move them. If you can move them they're not tight. Follow the ground lead to the frame. Clean and tighten there as well. From here you can begin to troubleshoot.
