Mowing John Deere 350 sickle mower issues

Hi. I can't seem to get my mower adjusted correctly. I have tried several times to adjust the springs on the lowering of my sickle. When I bring it down it stops before the blade is even with the ground (about a 30 degree angle or so). The elbow wants to gouge the ground too.

Does anybody have a manual for this mower and could send me the instructions on how to adjust the raising and lowering of the bar? That would be VERY appreciated.

Its probably the relationship of your chains and your drawbar height. Also, the spring can be attached at 3 locations on the flywheel end.
