John Deere 320?

I am looking to buying a JD 320 18hp Kawasaki,48in deck and snowblower attachment. It has 500 hours on it and the previous owner was very **** about taking care of it so it is in excellent condition. He said the only problem is it cuts about 1/8 uneven which is fine by me because it is for the cabin. He is asking $2500 for it which I think is a good price. Was wondering if anyone knows of any + or - with this tractor. Also what do you think is a fair price? I can not find much info on this tractor so I would appreciate anyones help.

I have a 1993 320 with 900+ hours on it. It is a mowing machine. I have the 48" deck with mulch kit. If the fescue is too tall and wet it will leave a windrow. There is an adjustment on the left deck hanger to level the deck. It should not be a problem to get it perfectly level, although 1/8" is close.

I have had no problems with mine. I did, however, find a 455 diesel and am now going to sell my 320. The local JD dealer said it should be worth around $3,000 so your price is better. Don't let anyone tell you to buy a lower new model at the same price. You should, with proper maintainence get 2-3,000 hours before anything major needs to be done with the engine. The liquid cooled Kawasaki is a much better engine and the hydraulic deck lift is great. I also have the mechanical tiller and a front blade. All work great.

Kevin, Thanks for the reply. I did buy it Friday and got to cut my grass finally. It was long so it didn't look the greatest but I did some clean up with it the next day and the lawn looked great. I don't think I will have to adjust it but it is good to know were the adjustments are. I hope it last that long. The guy took real good care of it. Even the original reciept was in great condition. He paid $6700 for it so I feel like I got a great deal.
