John Deere e120 extension spring

I was replacing the fuel level bracket on my John deer e120 lawn tractor and it required me to remove the body of the tractor. In the process, the (Extension Spring - GX21977) for my brake pedal and linkage fell off and I can not find any information on how to re-attach it to the mower. If anyone could advise me on where this straight end attaches to the mower, I would greatly appreciate it.
