I can't get the rear pin to move. I have heated the housing, and hit the pin as directly as possible with a punch through the front bushing hole...nothing. Since the punch cannot be perfectyl in line with the pin, there is deflection. I put a fair amount of pressure on the pin using a bottle jack pushing from the front bushing housing to the rear. I was afraid to use too much that I would break the casting. If I could get some movement there would be hope of removal. I don't want to do it, but might have to leave it for now.

How bad is the pin? I would think/hope the bushing was the "wear" part.

I would guess about 0.030"-0.050". I didn't mic it, but you can see and feel the wear. It didn't wear past the bushing.

Spec is .004 to 010" clearance. So you have a lot of wear.

Do you have room to pound the pin forward? Not to get it out, but break loose with a more direct hit(s)?
