John Deere 135 starting problem

I have a 135 LA mower that will not start, I have replaced the starter, solenoid and key switch, I can get it to start by jumping the solenoid. I assume it is something to do with the brake, seat or PTO switch. The tractor has the brake engaged and PTO off. Any help would be appreciated.
