My lower radiator hose sprung a leak, I ordered a new one. Is there a radiator drain? I saw a little valve at the bottom of the radiator with a pitcock on it;

Also, above the oil dipstick is another thing that looks like a dipstick, if you turn it, water comes out....what is this for?

I just want to be sure I have all the old coolant out, or as much as possible.

Yes, that petcock is a radiator drain, and the other thing is a block drain. You can do a good flush if you remove the thermostat first. Then start a cold engine, open the radiator petcock, open the block drain, remove the radiator cap. When the flow from the petcock slows down, close it and run a hose into the open radiator cap. Watch the block drain till clear water comes out of it. Shut off engine, close block drain, replace thermostat and gasket, refill radiator with new coolant mix. Run engine until thermostat opens, which will fill the block and lower the radiator level. Top up radiator as required. Or do all this with a cold engine, and put the thermostat back in as the last operation. Your choice.
