Jerky Power Shuttle

I have an RX6010 that is an awesome machine but, am curious as to why it jerks forward when you let the clutch out. I was on a JD today with the power reverser and it was smooth all the way no jerking or lunging whenever letting out the clutch. I know their is a calibration switch for the power shuttle does anyone know if you can calibrate it and remove the jerking motion?

There should be adjustment info in the workshop manual. If you dont have a manual, give your dealer a call and ask if he could copy the procedure for you.

If it's a power shuttle you shouldn't use the clutch to start out or go from forward to reverse or back. On mine there is a toggle switch that changes the response engagement time. Other than having to depress the clutch to start I rarely ever use it. Are you sure you have power shuttle?

Yes, I do have a power shuttle and whenever you want to inch forward it is only natural to use the clutch for that type of maneuver, that is when it lunges forward. I used the power reverser on a John Deere and you could inch forward by using the clutch.

the shuttle on your 6010 is hydrolic and you can decide to use or dont use the clutch to move from forward to backward.
