jd950 antifreez change

hello all im about to change my antifreez on my jd950, should i buy it from the jd dealer or is the walmart brand ok? tuvm

Use the John Deere antifreeze. Just recently, there was some very good discussions on TBN about the quality and properties of various brands. A little searching should bring them up for you. The JD was a very good heavy duty product for preventing pitting. Since you don't really need much, cost isn't an issue for an expensive tractor.

Yep, coolant for diesel engines is formulated to prevent liner cavitation. Read a short but good article about it here:
