JD540B Skidder Primer Problem?

Hi: Maybe I'm on the wrong forum, Google directed me here, with the question I asked. Can't get the 540B skidder to start, ran fine on Saturday, lots of fuel, a new primer, winds over fires up for a few seconds then dies. The primer doesn't feel like its pumping much fuel, ie. doesn't feel tight like usual. Any ideas before I start tearing things apart?

If fuel system is free of air then primer pump will will stop pumping. Remove fitting(parts key 6) to determine if check valve in fitting is plugged. If this check valve is plugged as I suspect it is that will stop injection pump from pumping fuel. If check valve is plugged then sometime in the future inj pump will need failing drive ring replaced.

Thank you Tx Jim, I will check that out when I go out there this weekend. Double thanks for the attachment I wouldn't know where to start with out it. I'll let you know what happens.
