hi All,

The challenge I have is that the box blade at max height only goes up to 11" of the floor. When I go up a slope, it digs in to the point where I can easily get the tractor stuck if not careful.

The standard length of the leveling arms is 18" pin to pin fully shortened or closed on my tractor.
If I replace those with shorter arms will that help with me getting the higher lift so i dont hit berms of dirt or crossing a ditch?
Also is there a possibility that at the lowest position will it not dig deeper?

What did you all do to manage it this situation?

Will something like this help?

Without a picture...
You can adjust the top link shorter. that will raise the rear of the box blade.
longer arms should lift it higher off the ground.
Adjustable side links will also add lift or lowering.

Ment longer lift arms. Shortening sidelinks (if thats your 18" ones) will lift higher.

Wont longer lift arms reduce lift capacity also?
Here is a picture from the manual. Will get actual later tonight

The 18" is length of the levelling arms

Full disclosure the manual picture is not the configuration I have in my tractor, as it also has the links for the drive over mower deck.

Yes.the farther out you go the less capacity but higher lift.
Look at "Pat's Easy Change" quick connectors. They mount directly to the end of your lift arms and will add a couple inches in length.
A box blade shouldnt be any issue for your lifting capacity. Yours =Rear lift (at 24"/610mm) 1250 lbs

Also by doing this and maybe shortening the length of your top link just a little you will be fine.

I assume you have the same problem I do with my 2025r where you have limited lift height. In your pic the right side has an adjustable link to level things. You can also get another one of those for the other side and shorten them both up. Shortening the top link helps also but may not keep the box blade level when you lower it. My rear blade was a problem for me, I angle it for snow removal. With it angled right I have to make the adjustable link on the right side really long to keep the blade flat on the ground when lowered. I now have it angled left which means the link is really short and I have a lot more lift height. In other words another adjustable link may give you more lift.

Thanks, so I should get another adjustable link for the other side or simply just get 2 shorter ones?
I can shorten the top link but like you said it changes the blade angle.

Any concerns if too short will the implement just hang or it will eventually drop to the ground?

I’m not sure, they would have to be pretty short to not let the implement down. With my rear blade setup for snow removal it lifts pretty high but the angle wouldn’t be great for cutting dirt or gravel. I’m not sure what two shortened links would do to the angles your box blade would contact the ground. I included a pic of my rear blade setup for snow removal and how high it’s lifted. With it lowered you can see how far it is tilted far forward with the short top link.

Thanks, will be trying the shorter adjustable links and see how it works.

In the lower link bars where the chain adjusters are. Unbolt it and drill another hole in the lower link bars about 1 1/2 or 2" out, then put the chain adjuster in old hole and the side links in the new hole.

Great idea but ended up ordering LVA803665 last night. Thanks
Plus my chain adjusters are not long enough to reach another 1.5 or 2" out even fully extended for new holes on the lower bars.

Thanks, I see what you meant, leave the chain adjusters and just move the leveling arms more out.
Anyways the dealer said the part is back ordered for 3 weeks..:grumpy:
