JD x748 disengage transmission

Hello,

It seems I'm unable to disengage the transmission on my x748.
I'm moving a rod, with a disc at the end, up or down on the right side (rear), with a but nothing happens. No click. Nothing and still hard to push

Is it me or else ?

What I hope to found is the exact location of the disengage rod and how to move it.

Not sure what you are "disengaging".
This video shows an x748 and only seeing a forward and reverse pedal.

What is up with yours?

On my old JD I would "pull"" to put in neutral.

Wondering if the OP is trying to get the transaxle in neutral to allow pushing/pulling the X748?
If like older hydro tranny''s, there are check valves in the top of the tranny that the rod along the side will press down.
Can get at them by removing the seat and the fender deck.

Again, a pic of what is or isn't working would help.

I have no problem moving my X750 by pulling the rod out now. At first it would pull out very easy until it seems to hit a stop. This is the internal valve I believe. Mine would not move either when effort was applied. I then pulled the rod more firmly pass this "stop" and the rod moved farther, and the tractor could be rolled with little effort. I hope this helps you.

Manual shows Free-Wheeling Lever inboard of right rear tire
1..stop engine
2..pull free-wheeling control lever fully up to open the valve
3..unlock parking brake
4..push machine
