JD SCV hydralics only goes one direction

Hello -

I have a JD 5105 tractor with two SCV's (used for loader, etc). The levers only go down, and do not lift up. They will center, and float. The 3PT hitch works fine up and down. This is not isolated to the loader, as attachments (haybine, baler) all work the same way. Reversing the attachment hoses does not change the lever behavior. (lever still only goes down, implement goes up) ---

About six months ago the first lever did this, (the second worked fine) and now both are doing this.

Any ideas?

Not sure on the JD but most control valves will have a return spring in the other end have seen a lot of the bolts back out and not let the spool move correctly pull the end cap of the valve and ckeck that just be carefull with the one with the float you don't loose thr balls for the detent
