JD RWA disc in need of a KK5971b bearing spool.

John Deere wants $130.00 and only source I can find on E-Bay wants $100.00 used. If you look at AGI supply they are not more then $30.00. The problem is finding the right size. I am willing to replace the hub and the spool but just cant seem to find anything that would work. The shaft is 1 and 1/8 inch square. The bearing is 7 inch and the hub holes must be 3 inch on center. Has anyone found a less costly used source on an aftermarket fix for these 1960's discs?

I’m taking on the same disc restoration. My dealer told me they could get the gang bearings for about $60 if I remember correctly. They had access to an after market company that made a lot of JD bearings. When I get the information part numbers and all I’ll get back to you. If your still looking.

I think rickgerek1 is referring to a white iron brg(KK5971B) not an anti-friction brg(AK3997B)

Thanks that would be great. I did a quick fix, cut two broken ones in half and slide them into the hub, but I don't know how long its going to last.
