My neighbor's kid has one of these John Deere PowerPulls (see link) and it doesn't go into reverse anymore. The shift lever doesn't seem to want to go all the way into reverse. I told him I'd help him fix it. After reading a number of the reviews on the link above, I see that this is a common failure. Looks like the hardest part is getting all the plastic parts to come off. Anyone ever mess with one of these? Sorry this isn't a real Deere, but that's just a technicality.
