Last night machine started, replaced mower drive belt and the broken belt guild link for it
Took the deck off, re-attached every now the motor will not even turn over, could I have pulled a interlock switch off besides the seat which I removed

when I say took the deck off I mean the green deck not the mower deck

Is it clutch or hydro?

My LX172 has a clutch and the shifter has to be in neutral to start, and the clutch has to be in. Also, the PTO switch has to be off. Maybe you messed up one of these interlocks.

Possibly you could have Mike. Is there a Brake switch? (I can't recall). Check battery and fuses also. Anything's possible... Check the Neutral switch on the transaxle. You were working near that when replacing the belt and maybe the guide. It sort-of slides on across the top of the switch sideways.

The drive belt was only for the mower hooks from mower deck to PTO clutch, its a Hydro transmission no clutch just a brake pedal with drive control pedals for for/rev

I am referring to the connector for the Neutral Switch.

I'm confused now.
If you were only replacing the primary mower belt (PTO clutch -> Mower Deck) why did you have the seat and green 'Fender Deck' off the machine?
