jd lx brushog

[Lone Oak Landscaping]

Just bouhgt a deere LX series brush hog that had been sitting not used outside for 2 years .
I would like to change the oil in it , it has the slip clutch.
Can anyone tell me what oil is reckomended ?

Use oil viscosity based on the expected air temperature range during the period between oil changes.

The following oils are preferred:

John Deere GL-5 GEAR LUBRICANT
John Deere EXTREME-GARD
Other oils may be used if they meet API Service Classification GL-5.
