JD LX 280 Advice ?

I picked up a JD LX 280 AWS. It has a 18 HP. Kawasaki motor and the edge 48"deck. I want to fit with a bagger or a material collection system. Question is, has anyone tried to use a regular 2 or 3 bagger hopper style? Or do you have to use the power flo system? I would appreciate any feed back.

Any Deck over 42" requires the Power Flow System.

Not necessarily on the Powerflo. I would think that you have a 48C deck though which Deere's standard bagger has the Powerflo. An Edge deck if you happen to somehow have that doesn't. You will see that the lighter tractor series L-E with the 48 edge doesn't have a Powerflo bagger available. It won't be a bolt on affair I'd think. Could probably be done. Should be done? Others bag with 48 /54" decks w/o an assist blower, but require nice high lift blades. Post a pic of your deck if you are not sure.
