JD dealer suggestion

I'm working on a 750 w/67 loader. I need to repack a tilt cylinder and much to my surprise these parts are no longer available. I was told to go to Northern Hyd website and buy two new complete cylinders. If that failed I could always go on E-Bay and see what I could find. I said, "E-Bay?............I have a John Deere dealer here who can't get me parts and you want me to go to E-Bay?"

Take them to any hydraulic shop. They can either do them for you or you can buy the packing from them. The Deere dealer must not want to mess with you or they would have taken care or it. Or they should have at least told you, if you brought the cylinders in, they could fix them.

I would try another Deere dealer. What are the P/N of the parts that you need? A dealer near me may have them in stock or be able to get them for you. We are not too far apart as I live in Dighton, MA.

I agree with JoeCDeere. You must have a dealer with a lazy parts department. Go to a different dealer.

Deere has excellent parts support. You can still get parts for ancient iron. My brother just got a bushing kit for the front axle of his 35-year old John Deere 120 garden tractor!

You should be able to supply the part number to any good JD dealer and they would order that and have it UPS shipped right to your front door in a matter of 2 or 3 days.
