I am trying to put aftermarket Hydraulics on my 850. I went to the JD dealer and was quoted 500+ for the valve kit. I then tried an aftermarket dealer and was quoted about the same. I was told by JD you could plug the rockshaft housing with a special plug (JD of course) and put fittings in place of the original plugs that are exposed. Anyone do this? I know the valves aren't that expensive. They are open center power beyond, right?
