Any ideas what the PB kit looks like and where it would attach? I'm assuming prior to the loader valve and additional valves I add? I've searched for images but can't seem to find any.

The picture below is from JDParts.com. Looks like fittings go into the block that feeds the loader valve. You would extend hoses from these fittings up to a new valve mounted on the fender or ROPS. That's why I said it would be a "cleaner" install because you won't need hoses running all the way to the loader valve.

From the JD site it looks like your pump is rated for 18.2 GPM, so the new valve and hoses you add must be rated for that-you don't want to put a valve on that only rated for say 10 GPM as overheating could result.

I found a valve that would fit the bill for you, one spool even has a float detent which may be useful for your disc or mower.

I have the dealer looking it up to see what it would cost, etc. They weren't too sure exactly which part, or if it was a sales part. Hopefully they'll get it figured out.

If not, I may have to go the other route and run the line from the PB port on the joystick like you mentioned. It's really not an issue since it would just follow the existing lines that are already there if I had to go that route.

Then I have to find some receptacles or connections with mounting plate to mount it somewhere on the back.

The price I just got quoted was $681 for the kit. That's $160 more than the Rear SCV kit. I might call another dealer to see what they come up with.

That sure does not sound right to me!

Depending on where you can mount the new valve, you may just be able to use some fittings and 90's right off the valve to mount the QD's, I did this on mine as well as some others have done the same thing.

I'm assuming I'll need one of the power beyond couplings to tie into the new valve such as: Burden Sales Surplus Center

So I would remove the hose entirely that runs from the PB port on the tractor to the PB port on the joystick/loader.

Run from the PB port on the loader to the In port of the new valve.

Run the PB port on the valve with the coupling above back to the port where I removed the hose from the PB port on the tractor.

Run the out port back to the tractor and Tee into the existing port that comes from the loader.

Does that seem right?

Well, I just ordered that valve and PB coupling so hopefully it will be here by Friday. Then I'll need to figure out what other fittings I'll need. I'm hoping the hose I remove from the existing PB port will reach the new valve. I still haven't received a price from the other dealer what the PB kit would cost.

Sounds like you are on the right track. Once you get the valve, figure the mounting out and then start measuring for hoses.

I got the valve in today and got a quick question. Will using it in this fashion prohibit the use of the 3PH at all? I've seen other threads mentioning that and was a little worried. I wouldn't think so since the PB is actually connected now?
