I have a 2009 5083E Limited cab tractor with 390 hours. I mowed hay on 6/30/2015, tedded the next day, and raked and began baling yesterday 7/2/2015. Everything progressed smoothly until I attempted to eject the first bale from my New Holland round baler. When I pulled up on the SCV lever to open the tailgate, the gate only opened about 6 inches then stopped. Within a second the shear bolt on the baler's PTO shaft snapped. I stopped the tractor and tried to eject the bale again and the tailgate would not open or close. I replaced the shear bolt and tried to start the baler again and got the same result. I took the tractor to a neighbors house and used his tractor to eject the bale. I decided to replace the male couplers on the baler thinking they might be the problem. We had to hammer the old couplers on the drawbar to release the pressure. Once the new couplers were in place we cycled the baler tailgate a few times and things seems to work OK, so it was back to the field. On the second bale the same thing happened again. At this point we had ruled out the baler as the problem. We hooked up a pressure gauge to the ports on the tractor and found pressure in only 1 of the 4 ports. The tractor runs fine, the loader will cycle OK and the steering seems to be fine as well. I checked the fluid level in the sight glass and the hydraulic fluid is at an acceptable level. I changed the hydraulic filter at the prescribed interval per the manual, but did not change the fluid as is was not included in the interval. I am very careful when I hook up implements and always wipe the couplers clean when hooking up attachments. On Monday we will perform a "flow test". (I think it's called that.) Am I missing something easy? How can I determine if its the hydraulic pump vs. the SCV valve? What other things should I check before we go tearing into the valves and pumps? Has anyone else had problems like this? I've read about overheating and fuel tank melting issues and I really hope I don't get into issues like that!

Since the loader works fine, that rules out the pump as a problem.
My first thought is the SCV check valves. Key 5 in the drawing. Stuck?
Kinked line(s)?
Next the tractor female couplers. Can you swap the one that has pressure to a different spot?
