Mf 30?
After removing engine and replacing drive clutch from flywheel because loader would not move at all, there was no fix. So, I took transmission cover off. It was a pain to get off by the way. When I got it off I found a broken steel line that appears to go to the hlr control valve. Has anyone ever seen this happen? I’m assuming this broken line would prevent the loader from moving? Any idea what the part number is? Or, where I can get one?

This is a jd450. I don’t see a letter but I know it has a dry clutch.

It is the bottom line that is broken I moved it in the picture to be able to see.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I had the time and I like to look up parts. The substituted part number is AT19240 (old PN is 19190) up to serial # 10634. After serial number 10635 the part number is 19239.

FYI in my opinion John Deere has about the best part number website that I have looked up parts on. What I usually do is just google "John Deere parts". This is the website that works for me: https://www.deere.com › en › parts-and-service › parts Scroll down a bit and enter 450 and pick the crawler on the available menu.

Here is the parts page. https://partscatalog.deere.com/jdrc/sidebyside/equipment/17479/referrer/navigation/pgId/1827487. This won't be totally accurate for you as it shows my local dealer.

Parts catalogue for the 450 crawler is PC922 if you need that info.

I saw your location, and was wondering if this part was available in the used market, but then I realized I didn't know anyone who handled used crawler parts at any location, much less near you. I was thinking the guy over in Pavo, Ga but I don't know if he does anything other than tractors.
Thanks for your help Pmsmechanic, I appreciate it when someone goes the extra mile just to help!

Thanks David. I actually enjoy looking up parts online.

Another thought was that since both the nuts on the ends are still good maybe a person could go to a shop and just have a new line made up. Or if there's room, have a new one done with hydraulic line instead of steel.

I'm wondering if you couldn't fabricate that line. Transmission pressures usually are no higher than 250 psi. Could also sleeve and braze existing.

I found a shop that was able to weld it. I also added a rubber hose and clamped it over it for a little insurance. I am hoping it will work. I did get it installed and it is working. I have another issue now where oil is leaking (pouring) from where I believe the oil pressure sensor is mounted to the block. I will have to fix that before I can work the machine too much.

I really appreciate all the help! Thanks so much!!
