JD 4310 Pricing?

We are buying a 5 acre plot and the owner is also selling a tractor along with it. I have shopped around and been interested in a New JD 3032e Ls g3033 and a few others but this one is a bit cheaper. So my questions are should I get this tractor at this price or go with a new tractor that's a bit more with warranty. Thanks for the input.

That's a really good price! I'd snatch it up yesterday.

I bought my 2004 4310 a year and a half ago for 14500. Both side cowls are cracked severely but it runs like a top. It had 1800 hours on it and I've added a couple hundred more to it. I love it.

The 430 loader is nice also. I haven't tested its limits but I have lifted my finish mower 6' off the ground to clean it and it weighs around 700-800 pounds. It acts like it isn't even there when lifting it.

If you are worried about repair bills I had to have it split in half at the dealership when it first was delivered because a bolt had slipped off of the gear splines (I have no idea what it's really called) and it would slip out of gear. The dealership billed the seller but the total was still only around $2300. That was for splitting the tractor, changing fluids, a new suction screen, fixing the original problem and probably a couple of other things that I can't remember. Anyway I doubt you would have to have your tractor split if there was a problem with it but even if you did I would bet that it would still be cheaper than buying new with a warranty.
