Ok, so this thread kind of quickly spun out of control. Just to reiterate, the purpose of this thread was originally to see if there was justifcation of the $2000 the price difference between the JD 4115 and the Kubota B2630. I then realized that maybe a comparison with the B7610 was a bit more justified because these machines are more similar, sans some of the extras you get with the JD like position control. However, there's a $4000 difference between the JD 4115 and B7610 and I can't see enough "extras" in the JD to account for it.
Yes, I'm probably better served with the B7610 when only size, weight, and performance are considered. I was mainly looking at other options for position control, but it seems that won't be possible without too big a price, size, and weight increase. I wish they still made the B2410. It's just like the B7610, but with some of the extras I want like position control and rear hydraulic outlet. I would gladly pay the extra $2k for one, and then this search would be over.
