I have posted about this related problems and received great answers.
Problem:
Status: New Solenoid (works) tested by grounding to (wht Solenoid wire in connector) in/out great, wire seems to get hot if I ground too long.
Tested - turned key-on, tested volts from Blu/Gm - No volts, Tested Volts from Red OK
Plenty of Fuel in bowl (new Filter), New Fuel (Relay K3)
I believe I have a short in one of my wires and I would like to verify my circuit from starting (KEY-ON-S1) to the
Fuel Relay (K3) to the Fuel Shutoff Solenoid (Y2). Wire Function:
Key-On(S1): Red Wire (400/401)----->Fuel Relay (K3)
Fuel Relay (K3):
1. Wires Into Relay:
a. ------->(400/401 Red) from Key-On (Power).
b. ------->(811 Blu/Gm) From? Safety Switches?" ___________________________________________
2. Wires Out to (connector X4):
c. ------->connector (Blk)---> Solenoid (Blk) Ground OK
d. ------->Into (650 Blu) ---> connector ----->(Wht) to Soleniod (Y2): Is this main power for start (High ohms?)
e. ------->Into (655 Gm)----> connector----->(Red) to Soleniod (Y2): Is this Alternative for running (low ohms?)
f. ------->Into (656 Gm) ---> (A2 Control Mod): ??_______________________________________________
3.Solenoid:
g.connector ----->(Wht) to Soleniod (Y2): (I ground this wire directly to white wire and Solenoid Worked)
h.connector------>(Red) to Soleniod (Y2): Is this Alternative for keeps running (low ohms)?
I really would appreciate your feedback or suggestions to curing this problem.

I asked a mechanic on a prior problem on the 4100, my son put regular gas vs diesel :ashamed:and ran->stop-Drained-filled diesel and the mechanic said that is all I should have to do. Drain the lines and the JD4100 are self bleeders no need to bleed the lines manually.
By another mechanic - he told me to buy a Fuel Injector ($$$$$) and new Injectors... is this right over $1500 to repair if the problem?
