JD 4100 60\" MMM Deck Height Latch

Does anyone have pictures of the Deck Height Latches for a 4100?

I believe the latches are simply chains. My thoughts are if the latches are simply chains of certain length. I can make them as long as I know exactly where they attach.

I am having trouble finding part numbers from John Deere.

It is a BM19507 ($70), and consists of some lengths of chain and a turnbuckle to adjust where the deck stops when you let the 3ph down. I don't have pictures, maybe somebody that has them on his tractor might be able to take a picture of them already installed.

I once used the latch from JD; it is a turnbuckle with chain. It worked OK, but I had one vibrate off and lost it. Since then I use inexpensive turnbuckles that I purchase at a hardware store. $3.00 beats the heck out of $70.

I am thinking the same thing. Buy the chains, etc. and make what is needed instead of spending $70+.
