I wonder what the OP @dwhipple99 here purchased & if he’s content with it now ?
The JD 5E 3cyl are dry clutch on the 9spd transmissions.
They will not take any abuse whatsoever.
The 12spd power reverser is the trans to have with a 5E.
If he bought a red or blue tractor & didn’t like it : he lost a ton of $$ trading or selling I’m sure.
Green paint holds it value really well imo
