thoughts on the 4005 or 990 John deere?
size, horsepower, dependability, wish it had or didn't have?
Think it will fit my needs but like to hear other opinions.

I have one and love it.i traded in a 790 on it. it has all kind of power and can lift more with the loader. I used to farm so I am used to grear tractors. I am 70 years young. it has 3 big wheel weights on each side.

They seems like a good tractor. Real question is what do you plan on doing with it?

Mainly bush hogging....
Also plant abour 3-4 acres of corn for deer. Some small food plots for hunting.....considering a rotary tiller to go with it as well.

Use it to maintain about 10 acres around home.......
