Sounds good, I also posted a while back on country-by-net about airstrips.

I've got a plan for mine, just not ready to try and tackle it.

Some of the light twins are cheap right now.

Yeah, like has been said above, the biggest issue isn't the buying price but maintenance issues down the road. Working on/fixing a dozer is one of the most expensive things that one can run into. A lot of people run them without any major problems for years and get their money back...other's spend triple what they paid just to keep it goins, so it's a crap shoot. I love 'em and take every chance to run one that I get.....but I still cringe when thinking of buying one. If it is even remotely close to purchase price to have your work hired out, then do that....

Well, I hope I got a good one - checked the service records and they're incredible - incredibly good. Oil analysis 20 hours ago and regular service since "relife". Once I get comfortable, I may take more risk when buying.

I also like rollover protection and lighting on this unit. One thing I might like in addition is a backhoe unit, but I could do that on the tractor as well or rent a excavator and go to town - all it takes is money - right? I guess for clearing an enclosed cab D5 or 6 and a good size track hoe - presto.

I may sell it, or agree to sell it if there is interest. I just want to do some cleaning up first. I'm not going to try and do anything super heavy duty.
