Will the later models of 318's (1992) with the four hydraulic ports up front run a FEL or do you need to stick with something like a Johnny Bucket?

I have seen 318s with loaders. I think Deere actually made a loader for them. I have seen a few home made FELs for them for sure.

Yuppers,
JD made a 44 loader for the 300 and older 400 series tractors.. Very similar to the 40 loader on the recently retired 400 tractors. (425-455)

JD made a Loader for the 300 & 400 series I think a #40 & #44. Go to the Yahoo John Deere Tractor Club. They have all the Correct information!

Thanks to all, I now have the "Yahoo John Deere Tractor Club" saved as a great wealth of information.

I bought a new 318 back in 1989 and the salesguy tried to sell me a loader as I lived on a large property...I told him I couldn't justify the expense as I would NEVER need one.

Still got the specs in the brochure, 400 lbs. lift capacity and 73 inch lift height for a 318. Considering how often I use the FEL on my 4210 I cuss myself out for not buying that model 44 when I had the opportunity. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
