JD 3032e drawbar pulling load capacity

I know that the drawbar on a 3032e has a vertical load capacity of 882 lbs. does anyone know how much I can pull with this drawbar?

Are you asking about rear/center drawbar or Three Point Hitch cross-drawbar?

Rear/center drawbars are engineered for heavy loads. Your limitation will be tractor traction, a factor of tractor weight, 2-WD VS 4-WD, tires and soil condition, rather than any limitation inherent to the drawbar.


A cross-drawbar has the advantage of allowing load to be lifted slightly at the tractor end, reducing load friction with the ground. You seldom see a cross-drawbar with a lot of use without bar sag. Lifting above rear axle height can make tractor unstable. Caution required.

3307 lbs without wheel brakes on the load, 4409 lbs with brakes.
