Can't do that with my Business. Have to clear sidewalks right away!
I found that tipping the angle of the deflector spout DOWN is the best. I put it so its just barely above Horizontal, and my X475 still throws it well over 25 feet. :thumbsup: If I tip the spout up too much I get snow in my face, and I often blow the snow from my front sidewalk all the way onto my back driveway, so i end up moving it twice.

Totally agree with you on the spout being nearly horizontal. That way you are able to "place" the snow where you want it. :thumbsup:
By pointing the chute up you are creating a snow storm which really acts like a snowmaking machine.![]()
