After watching your video, I would not complain one bit about your blowers performance:thumbsup:

Can't do that with my Business. Have to clear sidewalks right away!

I found that tipping the angle of the deflector spout DOWN is the best. I put it so its just barely above Horizontal, and my X475 still throws it well over 25 feet. If I tip the spout up too much I get snow in my face, and I often blow the snow from my front sidewalk all the way onto my back driveway, so i end up moving it twice.

The camera is too close to see how its really traveling. It sure looks good in that camera angle tho. It just doesn't seem to be coming out nearly as fast as my X475 sends it. A camera shot from a distance would be alot better.

I agree with Deadman--When I have the deflector up, the snow goes sky high and all over, but not very far. Tip it down and I get plenty of distance and better control of where it goes.

I considered wearing my Snowmobile helmet. That snow on the face doesn't bother me, its the 10 seconds after that when it melts from your body heat, and then you have Bare WET skin exposed in -10F temps, and -30F windchills!

Totally agree with you on the spout being nearly horizontal. That way you are able to "place" the snow where you want it.

By pointing the chute up you are creating a snow storm which really acts like a snowmaking machine.

Its actually Funny watching the snow hit the ground, because its going so fast when it hits the snow. It splatters just like if you were spraying a fire-hose! Its so heavy after it goes thru the blower that it will never move again until it melts!
