2004 JD 2210
Well guys, I've done all I know to do with my tractor! Problem is it won't start, I thought the battery went south on me, but it's fine! How it began was I went to mow the grass and it wouldnt start, so I jumped it with my truck and it fired right up, so ok I continued to mow my grass, had to get off to pick up a few things, so I shut my PTO off, when I got back on it I pulled the PTO switch and nothin, I pulled it back in the garage, tried it again and it just died? Now it won't do anything, I've had the starter checked, the alternator? Now I was thinkin it's the rectifier, I did a few test on the rectifier, I have 12.63V at the hot from the rectifier and as soon as u turn the key to start it, the voltage disapears? I haven't checked voltage from the alternator cause it won't start? I've also checked all the grounds ad battery cables to! Your help will be greatly appreciated!!

The PTO switch should be IN when starting your tractor, you may want to double check this. Also make sure that the transmission is in neutral. Just a couple of easy things to check. Are you sure that the battery is fine, have you checked it under a load, if it is the original it maybe time to replace it.
Good luck,
Ken

I haven't checked anything under a load cause I can't get it started lol, I've also got a relay chattering now to, I'm thinkin that might be cause of a low voltage issue?
