JD 212

I recently purchased a home and negotiated that the 212 be included. I take possession next month and am trying to learn about the tractor. Does anyone have information on the features and specifications for this machine? I understand it was built from 1975-1987 and has a Kohler 12HP. I suspect this to be a late model as it is in very good condition and the styling is similar to new ones. Any assistance would be appreciated.

You can take the serial # to your John Deere Dealer and he can give you the year of your tractor. You also can buy a operator's manual there for around $10.00 that will help you out.
I have a 1965 John Deere 110 with a 8hp and they mow good.
