I have a 1987 JCB 1550b backhoe, I need to check the brake fluid because I think its low. I was looking in the manual and it said to unscrew the cover to check to see if the fluid is between the marks. seems simple enough but they don't tell you where the cover is, does anyone have this machine or something similar?

-thanks chris

On my 1988 JCB 1400B the master cylinders and brake fluid reservoirs are located under a black plastic cover behind the instrument panel, next to the front glass. If the fluid is low, remember that these JCB's use light oil, not brake fluid in the brake system. Good luck.
