Anyone know this blade made by Jacobson, I can't find any references to it on the net. Maybe it was a prototype.

It's a mystery.
Nicely thought out design and it looks like a high quality build.
Where'd you find it?

I just did an image search and yours is the only one that showed up.

FWIW...This is not the same company (Jacobsen) that makes commercial mowers and golf course equipment etc...
interesting though and a mystery without many clues...

Rustydollar,
Is there any chance to get a picture or two of how the blade mounts to the framework? Thanks, David from jax

I asked Rob about the blade this afternoon, he said it came from an auction about 10 years ago and it's called a landscape blade. His son Collin just finished using the blade to level out the fill used for basement on the new house he's building.

Rob said that the blade can be lifted half an inch at a time, I think the lift is provided via the 3 point.

If I remember to take my camera on my next visit to the farm, gladly take more pictures for you.

rustydollar, that is indeed what we would call a landscape blade around here. That is a really nice design. I'm surprised I've never seen one like it.

Here's a pic of my box "leveller". It was initially designed for nut groves in California. It has a hydraulic wheel lift for raising the entire unit but I added two hydraulic cylinders for infinite blade (height) control.

The only reason I have a recent photo is because I listed and sold it last month.

Thanks for posting those photos. I'm pretty certain a few TBN'ers will consider building one.

That was exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!
That is a really nice implement, and I wish I had seen those pictures before I went through the trouble of building the rear grader that I have. There is nothing wrong with my rear grader but I think it would have been better for my use if built like yours.
Thank you again,

Wish it were my grader, it belongs to a friend. Also I may have solved the mystery behind who may have manufactured the grader, I believe it may have been a short production run from one of the many Hutterite Colony's located in Manitoba.

I have a framework of 3x3 inch square tubing, that might a really good start for one of these. If my fabrication buddy gets short of money, I may very well get with him and see if we can't build one.
Thanks again for posting the pictures, appreciate it alot!
