Don't know if it's a scam, but the price sounds "too goo to be true" and ya know... if it sounds good to be true.... it probably is

Then again, what would it hurt to call?

Sounds funny to me. I responded to an add for a sub compact JD TLB on craigslist a month ago. The price was maybe $4000, and I'm guessing the machine was worth at least $12,000, most likely even more than that. I said I wanted to see it that night and I was bringing cash and a trailer to take it home with me. I never heard back and the add was pulled a short time latter. I new it was a scam but I was curious if I would get an e-mail back or not.
