Is the "build date" in Kubota's s/n?

I did a search (TBN) and it looks like that is not in the s/n.

My tractor sat on the lot with 2 other's just like for a quite a while according to my salesman (that I had known for years) Kubota "dropped them off", and were not ordered by the dealer.:confused3: Locally the preference for that size tractor would be a cab model, not be an "open station" so they sat & I got a killer deal on one.
Kinda just sitting around watching it snow today, put the chains back on and just got to wondering about it while looking at another thread concerning a newer model with all that emissions ********.

You might try tractor data. They list the years the model was produced. Or call the dealer/Kubota

This site can tell you the build date of your engine, which can help approximate tractor build date....
