Rotary Cutter Is my bushhog too heavy

If your tractor has the ability to set the restriction on the 3ph (usually a knob under the seat) you may have luck by twisting it wide open and then all the way shut a couple times , then try to adjust it for the weight. Sometimes a little piece of gunk can prevent the valve from operating like it should and opening it up can flush it out.

Everything who said? Use "reply with quote" or identify in some other way.

Many of the things said here have no bearing on whether the lever itself will stay in the position you set it. It sounds like the lever moves too easily and wont stay at the correct setting while being jiggled by tractor and implement motion - unless you tie it. If this is correct just fix it by working on its pivot point to increase friction.

that will control the drop rate but not ur problem. I think the lever is vibrating down. My Myanmar ha. That problem an I have tighten the friction point.
