I just purchased echo CS- 310 chainsaw.
The reason to buy it is that it is much lighter than the Husqvarna 450 due to my age.
The weight is almost 3lb lighter than 450.
It makes me quite impressed after cutting some limbs, branches and dead oak trees.

I have 3 Echo's, the smallest and most used is the cs310. Nice saw, great price. I've been using it for 6 years.

I have two Stihls. A big one - a small one. After hours of use they get heavy. The little/light one is so I don't accidentally cut off my toes.

I don't have a pig in there race , however in the past I have purchased a couple saws here . I try to buy local but when theres a big difference in prices I order online .

Shindaiwa/ Echo for most part the same , just different colors and model #'s . They carry huge inventory .

I bought one a couple of years ago for around the home pruning. Nice little saw.

I bought a Stihl MS 261 a couple of years ago. It one of their smaller pro saws, I could have bought a larger farm and ranch saw for a little less money that would have had a little more power. It would have weighed 2 pounds more. My point is 2 pounds is a lot of weight difference in a saw.

Yes! Even a 1lb difference is a lot for a long period of cutting..

It was featherlight when I cut some trees yesterday because there was almost a 3lb difference between this saw and Husqvarna 450..

Unfortunately I didn't know the Echo 3510 is much better than the CS-310 according to a professional arborist.

The weight is 0.2 heavier and little more expenses but a lot of improvement.

I will consider buying it next time for sure.

Don't have a 310. Sometimes I wouldn't mind something smaller though. The 18" cs400 works for about everything. Something smaller to keep in my toolbox would work.

I like echos also.

I am still a Husqvarna chainsaw fan 😄😄😄
The echo CS-400 is almost the same as the Husqvarna 440e that I used to have.
I still have Husqvarna 450 for cutting big trees that I cut couple days ago..

This! My wrists, elbows, shoulders, can’t take it like they used to. I use the topping saw more than anything. I’m just very strict about never one-handing it. The electric gets a lot of use too, especially when I’m using the wood chipper. The little Stihl and the Kobalt can use the same chains so that keeps it simple. The bigger Stihl has the easy pull start, also a big plus for old arms. Serious point about toes BTW, I wear kevlar hard toed boots when I’m sawing.
