Is it possible: Modify a commercial mower deck for use on a PT?

My PT brush hog has chains. I had a blade break in half (which I find bizarre) as well as come off. I found half of one blade, I could never find the other half. Since I was on my lawn at the time and could not find it, it had to fly at least 50'.
