when i sign out of TBN, a lot of time i end up having to do a ctrl/alt/delete to get to the
task thingie, to end the program: for some reason it locks up or at least won't budge till i go thru these steps. anyone have any suggestions? if i don't sign out and just select another address, it goes straight there with no problem.

I usually never log out, but after seeing your post, I logged out, went to another website, came back, and logged in again. And everything worked normally for me.

I always try to sign out of anything on the computer. Good practice to have in todays world. Never experienced the problem on TBN or other sites. Does it do the same thing when you log out elsewhere?

so far just TBN: an not all the time: i have learned to deal with it: if theres no response after about 20 seconds, i go ahead and do ctrl/alt/delete and get the process of stopping it started.

Sometimes one has to look beyond the obvious. I'm running Vista / Firefox and recently downloaded a MS Visual C+++ upgrade. Computer stopped booting and had to do a restore every third or fourth boot. Deleted the C+ and prevented it from downloading and has been smooth sailing since.
