We did have the oppurtunity to spend one night in a castle. We went by ferry over the river Shannon to Glinn Castle. This is a shot of part of the front of the castle, it was a great experience, even though a bit pricey /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

This is a shot behind the castle in their gardens, to Kathleen it seemed enchanted with the sun illuminating the wild flowers /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif If you were going to find a Leprechaun, this would be the place /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks for sharing the pictures, brought back some memories from my trips there. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

But darnit now I want to go back again, /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif youngest needs to get just a bit older.

I consider my trips to Ireland to be some of the best money I have spent certainly the best on vacations, magnificent country.
