It's too bad you have to consider spending this sort of money to correct the deficiencies of an implement connection system that should have died many decades ago! Of course agreeing on some new standard is never easy.

Well, you could solve a problem and get rich in the process. Just design something that works as well and can be manufactured and sold much cheaper.

I recently bought the category 1 delta hook package and mounted the receiver plates on a box blade and a brush hog. The system works great for me. I do have top and tilt on my tractor and I'm sure that that helps with the ease of hooking up. I have no problem with the price I paid. I'd rather spend more for a quality, heavy duty piece of equipment than save a little money and wind up with flimsy junk. I bought directly from Alexander Mfg and the customer service was nothing short of spectacular.

The more I wrestle with implements, the more tempted I am to take the plunge on the Delta Hook system. Buy once, cry once.

But there never seems to be an end to other things I need to buy that are higher up on the priority list.
