I found a dealer today that sales implements by the name of "International", does any know of a web site for this company? They had Box blades, Rear blades, Mold board plows, looked like a bit of everything. The quality didn't look bad either.

I couldn't find anything, but I know I've seen those implements. Call the dealer and ask him if they have a website as you would like to be able to see the items at home so you can make a choice. Let us know what you find. International is a PITA to look up in search engines as it is such a universal word. John

I started looking for a Rotary cutter and some dealers had the International Brand but I like you couldn't find much about them. Here is one site I found some info but not sure if they are the same "International" brand or not. www.ssbtractor.com. Click on an implement and it brings up info. It says they are made in USA but I remember reading a thread a week or two ago that sounded like they could be from anywhere, that they were just sold out of Ohio. I looked at a local place that sells red implements and they said International Agritech on them but I couldn't find much on them either.

International Machinery, World Agritech Corp (WAC), same entity. Decent stuff at a decent price with a so-so finish. We've never had a piece of their equipment fail. Use a fair amount of 4&5' boxes, 5' graders, 4&5' rotary cutters.

Thanks for the info.
The man did tell me something about Ohio, I can't remember if it was made there or distributed from there.

Great people to work with too, if you need parts. Called one day and had them in the mail 2 days later.

What LMTC said. I bought a 5 foot rotary cutter new. My wife thought it was used it looked so lousy. LOUSY finish but tough as nails. I've put that thing up against 3 inch hardwoods, and spent dozens of hours in New England woods clearing brush and not a problem.

They were out of Bethel, Ohio. That's the address on my five foot rotary cutter.
I think it's the last company left that doesn't have a website! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I did a Google search on International and IM500 (the model number on mine), and I see Tarheel Tractor is selling that brand. That should give you some photos and some prices.
Mine is about ten years old and the new models still have the same model numbers and still look the same!

Somebody south of curt howard almost always beats his prices...even at retail. But this same someone is pickup only on implement sales.

The plant is about a 30 minute drive from my home. You can buy directly from them (best price). I went there to look at their equipment. It reminded me a lot of the KK line at TSC. One of the workers told me that they used to make all the implements for TSC but they were not big enough to keep up with the volume TSC required so they lost the contract. Don't know if that was just so much BS. I have not purchased any impliments but I did buy a trailer from them. I was convinced that the quality of construction of the trailer could not be beat for the price they charged. The place is so well hidden, you need to call them first to get directions or you will drive right by the entrance. Its almost like their existance is a big secret. But they are very accomodating and ready to help if you want to go there. It appears the price is right for the quality of their equipment for what I saw.

I've got their 6' rotary - it is a beast - will handle anything you can put underneath it (including the jacket that fell off the back of my seat while mowing /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif) Seriously - looks are ok, price is great, tough as nails. I'd buy again...

Just an update for everyone's information. "The International Line", aka World Agritech Corporation was a farm implement company owned by a man named Robert Taylor in Bethel, Ohio. It went out of business in 2006 but it's product line was then continued by "International Technologies", owner, Rick Hughes. A couple years later, the company again went out of business but was then taken on by Hawkline Nevada International in Mount Orab, Ohio. Depending on when the product was produced, the implement may be marked as International, World Agritech Corporation, International Technologies, or International by Hawkline. Regardless of how it's named, little has changed on the International rotary cutters, plows, and discs which continue to be made here in America.
A point of confusion to some customers has been that when Robert Taylor owned the implement company, he imported TONS of cheap European (mostly Italian) implements and put the "WAC" name on them. Some of the brands that were retooled as WAC implements include: Caroni, Galfre, Cosmo, Agrex, Sicma... and others. Since the brand seems to be so shrouded in mystery, I thought I would shed some light on the situation.

Curt Howard Equipment, Incorporated (C.H.E. Inc.) remains one of the biggest dealers and distributors of the International line and is responsible for the brand's widespread appearance throughout the Midwest. His website lists prices for all the farm equipment he sells.
